Loving the YCN’s tribute to Jim Knapp

Dear Editor,

First off, thanks to all for publishing The Yellowstone County News and doing such a good job.

Second, I would like to thank Jonathan for writing such a good life’s history of Mr. Jim Knapp. As a graduate of Huntley Project in 1954, I read with interest about all my friends and their families that are no longer here on earth. Just got phone call of two more of my hunting pals and friends that will be having funerals – Donald Baldridge, who managed the experiment Farm while on H. P., and Richard Gahagan of Clarkston, Washington.

So as we gather this coming couple of months for the holidays with family and friends, let’s give thanks for the many things they have done and what we can still do to help others.

As Connie and I get a little older, we enjoy reading the news and watching television so, to all, keep it coming and don’t wish ‘I would have done that yesterday!’

Sincerely,

Gerald Baum
