Heads up on DigIt Days scheduling dilemma

Dear Editor,

You do realize that your “DigIt Days” is the same day as the 4-H FFA Junior livestock sale at Montana fair. A lot of the rural youth who have a good work ethic and equipment experience and their families will not be able to attend. Also, according to the dates on the calendar, the third Saturday is the Threshing Bee in Huntley, again a family learning experience. There is also a cultural event going on not far away, “Crow Fair.”  At this time of discontent among the peoples, it may be worthwhile to check out.

I do know scheduling can be a nightmare.  With school starting up, shopping and sports, the last weekend before summer’s end. Also, crops that need attention, hay, grain, corn and beets all weather permitting.

Good luck with your event and finding time to fit it all together.
