Kathleen Williams begins launch toward U.S. House

Kathleen Williams launched her campaign for another shot at Montana’s at-large seat in the U.S. House of Representatives on the lawn of the Yellowstone County Courthouse back in April. She previously ran for this seat just six months ago in the 2018 election and lost to incumbent Greg Gianforte with 46% to his 51%. With Gianforte officially filing paperwork to leave his seat to pursue a gubernatorial bid, Williams has become the de facto frontrunner in the race over fellow Democrat Tom Winter of Missoula. If either Williams or Winter emerge victorious, it would be the first time in two decades that a Democrat has managed to seize Montana’s lone House seat. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
