Obituary: Donald Martin Weinzetl

Don was born on March 7th, 1934 in Huntley, Montana to parents Martin and Agatha Weidinger Weinzetl.
After the passing of Don’s mother Agatha, Martin married Don’s stepmother Helen. He was raised on the family farm at Pompey’s Pillar.

Don enlisted in the Army following high school and served 30 months of 3 years in France. He also served in the Army Reserve. Don held several government jobs including Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Public Roads, and Bureau of Land Management.

Don is survived by his wife of 32 years, Darlene, children from his first marriage to Carole Janich, Donna Weigand, Carla Christ (James), Monica Weinzetl, Zach Weinzetl (Lindsey), grandchildren Shelby, Shane, Candace, Chaz, Poppy Brothers, Dave Weinzetl, Ken Weinzetl, stepchildren, and numerous step grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Martin and Agatha, stepmother Helen, brother Dickey Weinzetl, and granddaughter Ashley Weinzetl.

There will be a funeral mass at Sts Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Ballentine, Montana on July 12that 1:00. Lunch will be served.
