Not in our town, nation, or world

Dear Editor,

I see Jennifer, Krayton and I have one thought in common, the “Country is going hell in a hand basket.” It’s time we put away the childish blame game and took responsibility for our own actions.

I like the idea of the local paper, as in shop local, eat local and take care of local people. I almost think I am an isolationist.  The “not in our town”  needs to be county wide; we need to clean up the drugs, human trafficking and other addictions.  Unfortunately, it is the other person who has the problem, never me.

As for the local news only, Jonathan, what goes on in the political scene statewide, nationally and globally is the only trickle down effect I have seen, all be it adversely to local people.

Keep up the good work.  Let us keep our friends and neighbors informed and safe.
