It’s time for common sense

Dear Editor:

I don’t understand how anyone can vote for a candidate running in today’s Democratic Party after the shameful antics during Judge Kavanaugh’s hearings.

The left-supported protesters that were screaming, hollering and bullying people, shameful. No due process.

This week they lashed out at horribly at Kanye West, why? Because he’s black and he sat down with the president to discuss issues in the black community, the nastiness is terrible. The left thinks they own blacks. Didn’t they do that once before? They attack the first lady relentlessly. They chase people out of restaurants; scream at them in the halls of Congress and in airports. All of this is accepted and even pushed by leadership in the Democrat Party. They have become the party of incivility.

There should be no workers, union or not, in heavy industry that should ever consider voting for a Democrat. The Democrats and their lobbyist and environmental groups have done nothing but work against the oil, gas, coal, logging, mining, rail, farm, and ranch and trucking industries.

To say nothing of the fact that they despise our military, law enforcement and border patrol agents. They opposed the tax cuts for American workers; not one Democrat voted for the tax cuts that are keeping peoples own money in their own pocket

It seems that those at the top of the Democrat Party, pulling the strings, don’t want success for America.

The socialist movement has become rooted deep in the Democratic Party these days. Promoting open borders and the abolishment of ICE. They promote sanctuary cities, lash out at law enforcement and border patrol agents. They don’t like to fund our military. Anything to cause chaos and weaken the country seems to be their goal.

Bernie Sanders is an avowed socialist. On the Heritage Foundation scorecard for the U.S. senators’ voting records, Jon Tester voted two votes worse than Bernie Sanders. Does that sound like Tester is voting for Montana? He’s voting to the left of an avowed socialist.

In New York, socialist Cortez and Salazar win primaries for the US Congress on the Democrat ticket. And that’s not just a New York phenomenon. Right here in Montana we have two Democratic socialists that won primaries in Billings for the Montana legislature, Jade Bahr and Amelia Marquez. They would join many others in our State House, like Amanda Curtis and Kathleen Williams, that have gone way far to the left. I can’t imagine that most Montanans are ready for a move towards socialism here in Montana.

Today’s Democrat Party is no longer the party of John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” If JFK were alive today, he would most certainly be a Republican.

It’s time for common sense people that care for this country to walk away from the craziness that has become the Democrat Party of today.

VOTE REPUBLICAN.
