Fact check everything the Left’s TV ads are telling you

Dear Editor:

Gianforte or Williams – who’s best for Montana?

Amid the rhetoric of this campaign, several issues are simple and worth your consideration.

First, you need to fact check everything the Left’s TV ads are telling you.

The idea that Washington is locked in gridlock and nothing is getting done is the media rhetoric. If you follow Congressman Gianforte’s reports, you know Congress has accomplished a ton. Some issues are waiting on the Senate, where there is no clear conservative majority.

Notice how the Democrats have fallen silent about how Gianforte is not a native Montanan. That is because Williams only came to Montana in 1995 after graduating from Berkeley.

Essentially, Williams has never worked in the private sector – her employment record is in government or special interest groups.

Other differences?

Gianforte has an A rating from the NRA – Williams has an F.

Greg opposes sanctuary cities – Kathleen supports them.

Gianforte opposes open borders, Williams supports them.

Greg voted for the tax cut. While In the Montana Legislature, Kathleen never saw a tax increase she didn’t love.

Greg supports repealing ObamaCare – Williams does not.

Gianforte supports repealing the death tax that makes it hard for farm families to pass down their business to their children. Williams has taken no position.

Greg opposes a ban on late term abortion and has a zero rating from Planned Parenthood. Kathleen supports all abortions and has full endorsement from Planned Parenthood.

If Williams gets to DC, she will be forced to vote with Nancy Pelosi – anybody that tells you otherwise is out of touch with reality. Nobody stands up to the Democratic machine in Washington. Williams’ record does not support the independent-moderate she’s portrayed as.

These are clear-cut reasons for you to vote for Gianforte, who has Montana values.
