Betty Ann Rauchle Olson
Betty Ann Rauchle Olson, 85, died on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at St John’s Chapel Court in Billings after a long fight with COPD and cancer.
Betty Ann was born in Forsyth, Montana, on May 6, 1933 to Emmanuel and Margaret Alles.
Mom graduated from Huntley Project HS in 1951 and married her first love, Richard Rauchle, on March 16, 1953. Her beloved Richard died of cancer in 1986. In 1995, as she helped Wally Olson through the loss of his wife, they fell in love and were married on November 14, 1997. Her beloved Wally died of cancer in 2007.
She is survived by her children Steve, Pam (Wayne), Janie (Paul), Shelley (David), four grandkids (four great grandkids), two step grandkids (five step great grandkids), and brothers Jack and Ron (Jacque).
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her parents, and sisters Margie and Pat, and Carol Welborn (honorary daughter-in-law).
Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 10:00 am at Smith’s Downtown Chapel, placement of ashes will follow at the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, and then a reception at the VFW Hall in Worden. Rev. Kristen LaVe officiating.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Worden VFW and/or the Huntley United Methodist Church.
