Thanks, Jonathan, for your eye-opening work on propaganda sent out by out-of-state newspaper

Dear Editor,

In the September 13, 2024, issue of your paper I read the Editorial by Jonathan McNiven concerning a newspaper called the “Montana Independent”. I read many articles that state things but being inquisitive type person, I like to check the facts as stated, and I found a website that does just that called “www.INFLUENCEWATCH.ORG”, this program is provided to the public by a non-profit organization called “CAPITAL RESEARCH” based in Washington, D.C. I did some checking and found that the facts stated by Jonathan were true with even more information that he did not include.

All organizations need money to provide whatever service they are trying to perform, so you need to follow the money and find the truth. This so-called newspaper needs a backer of some sort to pay all the bills, and this newspaper did in fact have a backer called “THE AMERICAN INDEPENDENT”. I did a search on this organization and found 10 pages of information which is very interesting and verified everything Jonathan stated. I am including just the beginning of the research for your review. I believe anyone that takes a few minutes to check this out will have an eye-opening experience. I agree with Jonathan that if you read a newspaper, especially one that states it is the MONTANA INDEPENDENT. The newspaper should be produced with people from this state and not some out-of-state entity that plays on words to get people to read what they are pushing, especially during a political campaign. These organizations are here today and will probably be gone shortly after the election is over, and they have accomplished their political agenda. Thanks, Jonathan, for your eye-opening work on propaganda sent out by out-of-state newspaper editors. ENJOY THE READ AND DO THE CHECKING BEFORE BELIEVEING
