Thank You & Those Who are Praying

Dear Editor,

We have a dear friend from Wisconsin, John, who has lived in Jerusalem, Israel, for many years.  He shared in the form of prayer requests a little more about Israel’s war.  Also, this week, Tuesday, the Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem, declared a day of prayer and fasting for Israel. These are indeed serious days!

Here is John’s letter in part:

“’For such a time as this…’ (from the Bible book of Esther), it would be good to pray into the following for Israel at this critical point in the war:

Renewal and hope in all devastated hearts which will produce faith in God.

That those who hope in the LORD would not lose their joy.

Pray that other enemies such as Iran’s Hizbullah from Lebanon or Syria would not enter the war with Hamas.  Assad and family have moved to their secret residence and last night 24 buses of Muslim women and children from Judaea and Samaria traveled to Jordan without their men.

Pray that Judea and Samaria (Jordan calls it their West Bank) would be protected and the IDF would effectively neutralize or eliminate all those who would uprise to terrorize Jews.

‘Comfort ye My people,’ says the LORD.”

John continues, “One of the leaders and founding member of Hamas, (Khaled Mashal) called for a global Jihad…’send a message of rage to Zionists and to America.’  He asked all Muslims around the world to carry Jihad by their souls; to fight and be martyrs for Al-Aqsa and the Temple Mount. He wants Muslims to fight against the Jews, starting with Muslims who live in the countries surrounding Israel: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt (also other countries), and to go to the borders and try to enter, each by his own means. He said, ‘This is the time for Jihad to be applied on the ground rather than just in theory.’ He asked the Mujahideen terrorists to go ‘ in long caravans and groups to spill their blood on the land of Palestine.’ He concluded by saying, ‘Today we are asking for your blood and souls [to be sacrificed for Palestine]’” (multiple sources reporting this).

We thank you and those who are praying in the greater congregation ☺️

Shalom by God’s power and provision.”

“God loves you.” (John 3:16)
