Julie Moe Schilling

Julie Moe Schilling was born January 10, 1962 to Jim and Jean Moe (Peters).  She was born in Miles City, MT and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1970. 

Julie returned to Montana in 1986 where she met the love of her life, Jerome Schilling. They were united in marriage on April 25, 1987.  They have two children, James (Jimmy) and Jaimi, as well as an honorary son, James Shelton.  Julie loved helping those around her feel beautiful and was passionate about teaching at the Academy of Nails, Skin and Hair. 

Julie was known for having a big heart and being a friend to many.  Julie never met a stranger and was always willing to help a friend in need.  Over the years, Julie opened her heart and home to many and was known for being a fiercely loyal and accepting friend.  Julie also had a great love for animals, especially horses and Doberman Pinscher dogs.  

Julie passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019.  Her family is comforted knowing that she is at peace. 

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Jim Moe.  She is survived by: her husband, Jerome, a son, Jimmy (Lynn) Schilling of Terry, MT, a daughter, Jaimi (Scott) Murray of Billings, MT,  her mother, Jean Moe, of Shepherd, MT, her sister, Jan (Mark) Rednall, and her honorary son, James (Melanie) Shelton; seven grandchildren, Landen, Hailey and Sienna Schilling, Witten and Cameron Murray, Victoria and Savannah Shelton; and nieces and nephews.

A private “Celebration of Life” will be held at the family home.
